Ok so today was my first day back to school from spring break. Theres some good news. Not only was it hard being there on time, but I had an exam in sociology and a term paper due in english. I will be so glad when these classes are over. I have a grueling schedule for the next 2 semesters. But its all worth it, right? LOL thats what I keep telling myself so that I don't give up like I did last time.
Well Peyton finally went back to his babysitter today! I was so excited for him. He has missed her so much. She is just like a grandma to him. As soon as we got to the door he was saying hi. It was so cute.
His face hasn't had any improvements, but it hasn't gotten worse. So thats good news. The neurologist told me that it won't go back to normal over night so I guess we will just wait and see, and pray for the best.
My day was pretty uneventful. I went to school, picked Peyton up from the babysitter after school, and came home. I did however go to dinner with Jacqueline. She is so great, and now she has a love for Kansai!! My all time favorite restaurant, EVER!! So thats where we had dinner. (sorry Meg I know that I told you that I would go with you, but aren't you going there for lunch on sunday?) I went to Jacq's house after dinner and watched the Biggest Loser. WOW I am obsessed with that show! I want either Mikey or Kristen to win. Preferably Mikey, but I have a sick feeling he is going home soon. Any who this is pretty much my rambling blog, so I'm gonna roll with it. I have to go back to work tomorrow, and then Friday is my last day!! So long Connextions!!! I am going to miss the people that I work with, but not the call center!! Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to HAVE to listen to people bitch about their insurance? woo this job won't be missed just the people. My ops manager is amazing! I really will miss her, but ya know weigh out pros and cons.
Ok well I feel like I have gone on long enough, and its bedtime! So until next time... <3

My son.. My world...
As most people know, I became a mother on December 5, 2007. It was the best day of my life. Every since the day that he came into my world I have been a better person. He makes me love stronger, care deeper, smile wider, and hug tighter. I can honestly say that I have no idea how I ever lived without him. He is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me. His name is Forrest Peyton Elwood Bowyer. Forrest is after my grandpa and Elwood is after his dads family name. We just call him Peyton to keep things simple.
Peyton has an older brother who I absolutely adore. His name is Logan William. He is 5 years old, and can be the funniest person to be around. He is so smart and not to mention cute as hell! Although I don't get to see him that much anymore, I still love him to death!
My life has been pretty crazy lately to tell the truth. I am starting a new job on April 8th at the new social club opening on 4th street. I was a nervous wreck going into that interview, but somehow they didn't even make me talk to the district manager, I got the job on the spot. Heck if I know how, but I got it and thats all that matters to me!
Aside from that I am back in school for nursing. I will be testing into the nursing program at Ivy Tech this fall. To say the least I am pretty nervous about that whole scenario, but I'm confident that it will all work out one way or another. School has been pretty great so far. Don't ask me why but for some reason I just feel like I'm doing something wrong by not being in school. I took a 3 year break from high school to college. And since I have started college I feel some much better about my life and where I am going.
Now the craziest part of everything going on. Peyton was admitted into the hospital on Saturday night. He has been to the doctor 3 times in the last 2 weeks. So Saturday afternoon, after we got home from the doctor, I noticed that when he was talking or laughing the left side of his face wasn't moving at all. So I called the nursing hotline, and they told me to take him to the ER to be checked out. Well low and behold they checked him in, and straight to the 5th floor we went. Turns out he has Bell's Palsy. Its a temporary paralysis of one side of the face. It can be caused by quite a lot of things, but they are thinking that his is from being so sick. The neurologist said that he expects it to go away in 1 to 3 months. I sure hope so. This was his first trip ever to the hospital since birth. I'm glad that we are home now and everything turned out ok.
As for my social life. What's that? lol.. No really I have a handful of very close friends that I stay in contact with almost everyday. My best friend has been just that since preschool. I can honestly say that no matter what shady thing I have done she has always been there for me. Who could ask for anything better!
Well I am starting to run out of things to write about, so I'll do some brainstorming in my english class tomorrow and see what I can come up with! Until then....<3
